It’s A Hot Mom Summer

The flare jeans and crimpers are coming back with an upgrade! Moms, we can wear these jeans but better! Have we forgotten? I haven’t!

For some the fan bangs and crimped hair were all the rage. For others we think about it and cringe. But what if I told you that we can wear our old favs and even style our hair a center way, and be just as cute and beautiful as women as we are mothers! I am sharing my favorite summer fashion styles!

Your Summer Fashion Style

We can! I’ll show you how to style just about anything from a flare jean to a graphic tee and ankle boots. The trick is to style for your body and the type of body you have. Today we are in rompers and skirts with a classic tee and jacket.

In this series we are going to be diving into summer fashion and ending at my favorite season FALL. Summer is already unbelievably hot!  Why add clothes that make us even hotter? I’m here to show you what’s out there that is new, cute, and flattering.

There’s no right or wrong answer when it comes to fashion!  Anything goes. I want to show you some summer grabs that aren’t crop tops and daisy dukes. Summer items that can work for all moms on the go.

Say Hello to a Romper

Rompers can be worn at any age! Don’t be afraid to wear a romper, you may even want to go a size up to be comfortable! Shorts do not have to be tight around the thighs to be flattering. I love a slouch short!

We don’t have to stay in jeans and a plain tee year around. Let’s throw on a slouchy short or that romper that’s been hiding in the closet.

Wondering what shoes to wear with those rompers?  I love loafers and mules they’re my favorite shoes. Mules give not only a dressy and classy vibe but you guessed it comfortable. Sneakers are amazing too!

Style! But Make It Summer

You won’t see me in very many maxi dresses unless it’s tied at the bottom. It’s my way of styling it and also allowing my legs to peek out. I also try to give it structure by adding a belt either a cloth one or leather.

Breaking up fabric with different mediums not only makes you feel more feminine it also gives it flair. Who’s flair you ask? Your own! Each of us has flair, are you shabby chic? country? Alternative? Your style of flair makes you unique and that’s what fashion is all about.

Affordable Summer Pieces

What sticks out to you when you think of summer time garments? Here are some choices that are fun and not short or flirty outfits. The best part is ALL of these pieces are affordable. A couple of staples (ahah see what I did there) to think about to go with these are a basic white tee, neutral colored cardigan or a non distressed jean jacket.

Below are some skirt and romper options. All the choices below you can find on walmart.  Bring your clothes together and add jewelry and a fun hairstyle. Here’s where the basic white tee comes in and to add a cardigan or a jean jacket. You are ready to conquer the day.

Summer is fun!  Let’s match the season with our wardrobe and shine like the sun.
