It’s Summer – Do What You Love!

Campers between Kindergarten and 8th grade will enjoy a wide range of summer activities designed to keep them engaged and excited! Themed weeks will includes science, art, sports, games, water play, technology, and more! This summer sign up for one of our camps and spend your days making new friends, learning new skills, and participating in your favorite activities! We know that our kids’ interests are just as diverse as their personalities and we work hard, every year, to make sure we’re providing camp experiences that everyone can enjoy. Our kids have the opportunity to spend the summer making the best memories in a positive environment while developing healthy habits and strong character!

We offer very flexible enrollment, with the ability to enroll for full weeks, half days, or one day at a time. Every week has a different theme with different activities at each camp location. Pick your favorites and easily plan your other summer adventures!

If your child loves the ocean as much as we do, then we invite you to be part of our 2024 Summer Surf Camp. No matter what your child’s surfing skill level and experience may be, they will surely have fun at Ohana Surf Camp. We are proud to offer only the most enjoyable beach and surfing experiences in Ventura. Our CPR-certified surf instructors share expertise in water safety and our passion for surfing and the ocean. Our camper-to-instructor ratio is 1:5. Sign up today!

With over 7 years in business, we are the only surf camp in Ventura that holds a contract with the City of Ventura Parks and Recreation department. This designation is an assurance to families that Ohana Surf Camp and its instructors operate to a higher standard.

Ventura Yacht Club is one of the coast’s most active boating clubs, proud of its long history, family members, community involvement, and significant accomplishments. VYC maintains its forty-years of youth boating by hosting Junior-only events and having its own adult membership host youth sailors on their larger sailing vessels.

Juniors enjoy a variety of sailing experiences including spring and summer camp sessions, monthly weekend events, and race teams. Our program’s mission is to promote seamanship while building skills in all levels of sailing and water safety while encouraging the Corinthian Spirit. We are confident that your child will have fun while developing a life-long love of the sport of sailing.

VYC operates a fleet of Optimists, Lasers, and FJ’s. All instructors are US Sailing Members, hold CA Boater Cards, and are CPR- and Safesport-certified.

Water sports have been around for millennia, but sailing is what connects people around the globe. Whether you’re looking to get your start, want to join racing competitions, or just looking for a “sunset sail” lifestyle, Ventura Yacht Club’s youth sailing program is the place!

Nike Kids Camps “powered by i9 Sports” is a multi-sport camp that is geared towards building a foundation of techniques and skills that will help campers develop athletically and mentally. Here, campers will work on running, jumping, catching, throwing, kicking, balance and playing through fun practices and games. This camp will utilize teaching and coaching techniques that are rooted in the best research and science around developing kids and celebrating the efforts that help kids want to love sport for life. Sports include baseball, soccer, basketball, and flag football (may also include volleyball and lacrosse).

We are offering six different camps this Summer throughout Ventura County as well as West LA County. This camp will offer multiple sports and will utilize teaching/coaching techniques from “Nike How to Coach Kids” and “How to Coach Girls” programming that bring to life the best research and science around developing kids and celebrating the efforts that help kids want to love sport for life.

We are a one of a kind 5-day leadership program at the most visited Presidential Library in the U.S.! Students will learn from and engage with our staff to collaborate with civic-minded peers. This program culminates with the creation of a Leadership Action Plan (LAP) designed to bring about positive change in your community.

Join us for a summer of creative magic at Glitter Barn! Campers enjoy different creative themes each week that encourage kids to tinker, design, and bring their imaginative ideas to life using all kinds of exciting materials and tools. Expect laughter, a bit of mess, and a whole lot of fun for your creative kids!

Register for one week or all summer long! Multi-camp discount available. Campers can join us for half-day (9am-12pm) or full-day (9am-2pm) camp experiences. Full-day campers will also enjoy outdoor playtime and games near our studio.

Maker Camp themes for 2024 include Toy Shop Camp, Swiftie Summer Camp, Enchanted Forest Camp, Build a Tiny House Camp, Spa and Stuffies Camp, Imagination Station Camp and Amazing Architecture Camp!

We’ll also be offering a fun camp experience for tweens/teens (ages 10-13)!

DAY CAMP

Jr. Safari is a weeklong, full day camp running form 8:30am to 4:00pm. It allows your child the unique opportunity to come up close and personal with the zoo’s animal collection while participating in developmentally appropriate, science based learning experiences. All projects are designed not only to entertain, but also to educate the campers about the natural world of animals.

Camp is designed for campers entering grades 1st to 6th in Fall 2024. Campers are grouped grades 1st-3rd & 4th-6th. 

Designated weeks are designed exclusively for campers entering 7th and 8th in Fall 2024.

AGES: 7-16
OVERNIGHT CAMP

A co-ed, traditional sleep away camp for kids age 7 to 16, uniquely located on a 900-acre ranch in the Sierras north of Lake Tahoe and a 1.5 hour drive northwest of the Reno-Tahoe International Airport. Family-owned and operated since 1956, our limited enrollment and our tech-free policy allow for a more personal camp experience and family-like feel that bring all of the camp together. Campers choose from our various activities 2-4x daily, with weekends and evening activities devoted to camp-wide activities.

At MMR, campers experience more than the fun and activities that are a given of the camp experience, but also personal growth in self-confidence and character, fostering new friendships and memorable experiences that last a lifetime. Our entire program is centered around the principles of servant leadership and our guiding values that we weave throughout the camp experience: inclusivity, empathy, stewardship, integrity, authenticity, and mindfulness.

Bluegrass Theatrics is a Theater Camp owned and taught by teens. We are located in Simi Valley, CA. Our goal is to teach kids how to sing, dance, and act while also having a bunch of fun. We will put on a musical in two weeks. We also play theater related games and provide crafts themed on our show. Keep in mind this camp takes place outside!
