Turned by love
Into heroes, adventurers,

For moms, there is something almost magical witnessing a man become a father.  A Father is something special…unique…wonderful!  We want to take the time to celebrate all the fathers, father-figures, grandpas, step-dads and everything in between this Father’s Day!

Congrats Ashley Staples on winning our Father’s Day Giveaway!

Gerardo

He is a hard working papi who puts his girls first. He is such a fun loving daddy.

Jeremy

This was a first photo of me since my hair loss after cancer at Lillian’s graduation with dad and sissy. Jeremy has been the absolute best dad in every way including being a father to our oldest who’s not biologically his. He works hard at everything he does including making sure our girls are loved and seen. He’s the glue that keeps me going and the man our girls first loved.

Rudy

Rudy is the most amazing dad of four! He’s the best example of a hard worker and always tried to instill good values in our kids through lessons he uses teach them. I’m grateful to have him as a partner and my kids are luckier to have him as a father.

Jonas

Jonas was an amazing father when I met him, and I got an amazing step-daughter out of the deal. When our son was born, he had birth defects that caused the need for some major surgeries. In the scariest times, I was a total wreck, and he was a steadfast advocate for Lukona’s care and it likely saved his life. Now he gets to be the best soccer coach dad, the spoil-him-with- slurpees dad and the building-an-international-family-business-for-his-kids’-future dad!

Charles

He is the best dad. He is our children’s biggest fan and best role model. He shows our kids what it looks like to love people well, not be afraid to try new things, and how to have lots and lots of fun!  We love him very much!

Happy Father’s Day to all the special dads in your life!

Cascia Smith
Cascia was born and raised in the Arizona heat. While receiving her Pre-Med degree at HIU in California, a blonde, surfing, skateboarding boy stole her heart. In 2004, she married Chuck and had many adventures living in Arizona, California and Colorado. They now call Simi Valley home and have three wild and curious children - Becker (10), Bodie (7) and Lyla (6). She has been blessed to be a teacher, summer camp staff/program director, SAHM and now the owner of Ventura County Mom Collective. Playing guitar, writing songs, and reading any and every parenting book helps keep her sane and happy! A good cup of coffee or a bubbly La Croix can usually be found in her hand! She tries to live by the motto "I'd rather recover from failure than live with regret.
