5 Restaurants In Cambria

On my family’s first stay-cation to Cambria, this was one of our very first stops.  We had heard it was a must stop and it did not disappoint. It started as a family fruit stand and is now a popular dining spot. We enjoyed their delicious chicken pot pies, chocolate pie and Olallieberry lemonade. You guys!! My kids drank glass after glass of this amazing lemonade! And don’t miss your chance to visit  Linn’s Farmstore just 5 miles east of Cambria.

When you have a real desire to French/American cuisine and need an impressive wine list, look no  further.  The dishes are made from fresh farmers market ingredients and the prices are impressive.  This is a great place for a girl’s night out or a romantic dinner.  They also offer a wine tasting room that is open daily where you will receive 15% off your wine, even if you don’t dine there.

What a hip, swanky little spot! For nine years in a row, the bistro has received the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. And with white linens, white china and a cozy fireplace this spot is a perfect fine dining experience. They only serve dinner and the menu changes according to the local produce and other organic, sustainable items.

I personally am so excited about this restaurant because I have Celiac Disease.  The Hidden Kitchen is 100% gluten free and all organic! Yes I said 100%!!!  You will find yourself walking down an alley that leads to an overgrown courtyard and straight to this wonderful spot. They offer a simple menu full of flavor and feature bioregional blue corn waffles!

Found in a restored adobe home in the historic East Village, Robin’s offers a quaint outdoor garden seating or covered patio option. They often have live music throughout the year. They have been voted several times as “Best North Coast Restaurant” by the San Luis Obispo New Times. Dishes feature Mexican, Thai and Indian Fare with nightly vegetarian special.  And you don’t forget to sample one of their homemade desserts.

Enjoy the Food!

All that is left is to decide where to start first!  We would love to hear about your foodie adventures in Cambria! If we missed a great spot, let us know and we can add it to our list!
