Pumpkin Patches: Ventura County and Beyond

    0

    Happy Fall, y’all!

Fall is HERE! Which also means HALLOWEEN!  Soon, the air will get cooler, the sun will go down sooner, and we’ll switch out our tank tops and flip-flops for sweaters and boots (well…kind of). Our children are planning Halloween costumes and jack-o-lantern designs. With the change of the seasons comes many family traditions, including a trip to the pumpkin patch to pick your own pumpkin, take a spin through a corn maze, and try your hand at carnival games!  So, we are sharing all the wonderful pumpkin patches in and around Ventura County to enjoy with your family.

Below, we have compiled a list of pumpkin patches in + around Ventura County.  We hope you find the perfect pumpkin! (We will continue to update the guide as more Pumpkin Patches open).

Top 5 Tips For Enjoying A Pumpkin Patch in Ventura County.

    • The best time to go to a pumpkin patch is to go during the week. That’s because it’s less crowded than on weekends when everyone decides to go.
    • The weather during the fall can be unpredictable so bring layers to adjust accordingly. Also, bring some sunscreen!
    • Bring your own wagon if permitted to carry those pumpkins in.
    • Bring some picnic items because you might find the perfect picnic spot to enjoy the scenes.
    • Grab a few extra small pumpkins (usually around a couple of dollars) to paint and enjoy all October!
