Spooky season is almost here and our family is a little obsessed with making every day until Halloween special. We love making each day a bit special by adding cute Halloween magic to our routine.
Spooky Halloween Lunch Ideas
Lunch time is favorite and I enjoy having the kids help me make spooky meals for the whole family to enjoy.
Here are 3 of our favorite quick halloween lunch ideas you can all have fun with and enjoy this!
Spooky Bagels:
Grab your favorite bagels and top them with pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, a
bit of oregano and your favorite toppings. Use black olives, cut them in halves to create spiders to add to your bagel. Place in the oven and bake. 350° for 5-10 minutes until cheese is melted to your liking. If they do not like olives add some fake vampire teeth or eyes to make your bagel scary.
Witch Hats:
You will need puff pastry or crescent rolls and your favorite lunch meats and cheeses. You can also use pizza sauce, cheese and pepperoni. The ones pictured had turkey and
cheese. Grab a crescent roll triangle lay flat and add the filling of your liking then grab another crescent roll triangle and cover it. Roll the bottom longer side and press on the edges all around. You can add cheese or like the photo we cut some pepperoni stars to decorate our hats. (Follow the pastry instructions for baking). You can also switch these up and make them for breakfast, add scramble eggs and sausage and they make the best breakfast pockets.
Mummy Dogs:
These are our favorite and super simple. You will need hot dogs, puff pastry or
crescent rolls and mustard. Have the kids wrap the hot dogs with the pastry and then place in the oven. You can also do these with Lil ’smokies and make them for fun Halloween themed parties. (Follow pastry instructions for baking). Add mustard dots for eyes, dip in your favorite condiments and enjoy!
Enjoy
We hope you make these at home with the family and that everyone loves them as much as we do. We love making lunch fun and themed during this time of the year and it helps our kids get involved in the kitchen.
